A 2009 graduate of the Central Academy of Drama specializing in performance, Lin Xia Wei joined the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre as a full-time member the following year. A national scholarship recipient, Lin has participated in such productions as The Butterfly Lovers, Sunrise, Affairs of the Sexes, Beyond the Horizon, and Prometheus Bound. In recent years, Lin has made appearances on Chinese television (New Story of the Mermaid, Handphone and Tears of the Pear Blossom) and films (The Summer of Our Graduation, Colour of Rainbow), as well as television and print advertisement.
