Ling Man Lung joined the HKREP as a full-time actor in 2008. He has since brought his down-to-earth performance and imaginative interpretations to many HKREP productions to date, including Caligula, Beautiful Connection, A Flea in Her Ear, Richard III, SCROOGE - the Musical, Midnight Angel, Dr. Faustus, Dr. Tim Ding's Factory (also as assistant director), The Empress of China and Shed Skin. Ling・s portrayal of Xu Bao-Sheng in Boundless Movement and his multiple roles in Papa Mama, Thy Wind Blows Ever have won him much praise from audience.

Ling also participated in the HKREP・s Outreach and Education Programmes such as The Story of Ah Yu and Wang・s Diary. His role as Valentino in A Servant of Two Masters, produced as part of Macau Education and Youth Affairs Bureau・s :Arts Education Project,; fully displayeds his comical sense and flexible physique.

A BFA (Hons) graduate majoring in acting of the School of Drama, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Ling was the recipient of both the HSBC Mainland Scholarships for Hong Kong Students and Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation Scholarship. He also won the HKAPA・s 2007-08 Outstanding Actor Award, for his performance in Thunderstorm.
