Pang Hang Ying graduated from the School of Drama, The Hong
Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1991. She conducted acting
workshops for various organizations and was the producer, actress
and script translators of various productions for Wanchai Theatre.
She played in several movies, including I Have A Date With
Spring, Naughty Couple, Same Time, Next Year, One Of The Lucky
Ones. She joined HKRep in 1994 as full time actress.
Her recent acting credits include We
Are One Family, The Crucible, Forever and Ever, Secret of
Resurrection, A Dream Like a Dream, Rape Virus, Formula of
a Thunderstorm, The Eccentricities of a Nightingale, Departure
00:00, Sweet & Sour Hong Kong, Rotate 270¢X, February 14,
Proof ,Vassa Zheleznova and Peter Pan.
Pang was nominated several times
at the Hong Kong Drama Awards, including the Best Actress
(Tragedy/Drama) for her work of Tracy in ¡§»PÃT¦@»R¡¨ (Wanchai Theatre),
Yelena Andreyevna in Uncle Vanya, and Best Supporting
Actress (Comedy/Farce) for Linda in Move Over Mrs. Markham,
Kate in Let Me Love Once, Mrs. Mao in Hong Kong
For Sure!, Bai Nui in Secret of Resurrection,
Mrs Pai in Love in a Fallen City. She was awarded
Best Actress (Tragedy/Drama) for her works of Maggie in The
Shadow Box in 1997 and Mrs Pai in Love in a Fallen
City in 2002. In 2006, she was nominated the Best Supporting
Actress(Tragedy / Drama) at 15th HK Drama Awards for Proof.
