Sun Wai Keung joined the HKRep as full time actor upon graduation
from the School of Drama, HK Academy for Performing Arts in
1994. He played in over 50 productions,
including The Crucible, Forever and Ever, Hong Kong for
Sure!, Uncle Vanya, Secret of Resurrection, A Matter of 4x6,
A Dream Like a Dream, Rape Virus, Formula of a Thunderstorm,
The Eccentricities of a Nightingale, Haunted, Haunted Little
Star, Departure 00:00, Sweet & Sour Hong Kong,, A Small
Family Business, Peach Blossom Fan, The Importance of Being
Earnest, Rotate 270¢X, Whose Life Is It Anyway? and Zheng He
and The Emperor, Rep 2¡mBoxer¡n,Blindness and De Ling and Empress
Dowager Ci Xi.
He was the assistant director of
Haunted, Haunted Little Star, the playwright in black box
productions The Lost and Found Trilogy (2007), story creator
of Detective Woman, and the designated vocal and singing artist
in Cantonese for the Walt Disney cartoon character Winnie-the-Pooh.
Having been nominated at the HK
Drama Awards several times, Sun was awarded Best Supporting
Actor (Tragedy / Drama) for his work of Mr. Wang in A
Dream Like A Dream in 2003. At 15 th HK Drama Awards
In 2006,he was awarded Best Actor(Tragedy / Drama) for his
work of Ken Harrison in Whose
Life Is It Anyway?.
At 16 th HK Drama Awards In 2007,
he was nominated Best Supportting Actor (Tragedy / Drama)
for his work of the First Blind Man in Blindness (World Premiere).
