Wong Wai Chi graduated from School of Drama, HK Academy for
Performing Arts in 2002. She was awarded Outstanding Actress
and the recipient of scholarships; she also attended workshops
in Beijing. She played in the Academy productions of The
Call of the White Orchid, The Wizard of Oz, The Royal Hunt of
the Sun, Rhapsody in HK 90¢X, A Doll¡¦s House and Love in the
Red Chamber. Outside the Academy, she also appeared in
Hong Kong for Sure!, West Side Story and Jingpingmei. She
also appeared in the movie From The Queen To The Chief Executive
and several musicals. Wong joined
the HKRep as full time actress in December 2001, her acting
credits include Secret of Resurrection, A Matter of 4x6,
A Dream Like a Dream, Love In a Fallen City, The Eccentricities
of a Nightingale, Haunted, Haunted Little Star, Departure

Peach Blossom Fan, The Importance of Being Earnest, Rotate

She was nominated the Best Actress
(Tragedy/Drama) at the HK Drama Awards in 2001 for her work
of Nora in the Academy's production of A Doll's House and
Best Supporting Actress (Tragedy/Drama) for Pussy of Rape
Virus in 2004 and Best Supporting Actress (Comedy/Farce)
for Cecily of The Importance of Being Earnest in
2005. She was nominated
Best Actress (Comedy/Farce) at 15th HK Drama Awards in 2006
for February 14.
At 16 th HK Drama Awards In 2007, she was awarded Best Actress
(Tragedy / Drama) for her work of De Ling in De Ling &
Empress Dowager Ci Xi (Theatrical Gem. Revival).
