Chan Ka Lok graduated with honours in 2017 from the School of Drama, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in acting. During his school years, he received the Hongkong Bank Foundation Hong Kong – Mainland Exchange Scholarships and the Grantham Scholarship. During his HKAPA years, Chan appeared in Noises Off, La Ronde, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Wilderness and The Blue Bird. Theatre Horizon’s “New Directors’ Movement” production of Mourning Becomes Electra and Century-old Dreams of A Fishing Harbour, Episode III. The Awakening.
Chan joined the HKRep in 2019 as a full-time company member. Among his recent productions are HKRep’s The Good Person of Szechwan – the Musical, The Big Meal, A Dream Like a Dream, Hu Xueyan, my Dear (2018), The Office and Scrooge – the Musical.
