Man Sui Hing Actress

Man Sui Hing joined the HKRep in 2014. She was featured in An Unjust Good Fellow (as Chan Hei), Auspicious Day (as the mother), Marriage (as Hanada Hana), these three productions garnering award and nominations for Best Supporting Actress (Tragedy/Drama) at the Hong Kong Drama Awards. Other performances include A Dream Like a Dream, The Great Pretender – a musical [Preview], Hong Kong International Black Box Festival’s Oedipus Schmoedipus, Scrooge – the Musical, The Diary of Song, In Times of Turmoil, An Unjust Good Fellow, Field of Dreams 2017 LIVE+ and The Abandoned Harbour.

Man has appeared in Perry Chiu Experimental Theatre’s Vagina Monologues (Hong Kong and Singapore), To Live On, The Golden Cangue (premiere and mainland China tour) and Zhong Nui Antidote; Actors’ Family’s musicals The Bloody Hell, The Love Story of Sam and Sally (revival), The Passage Beyond and The Good Person of Szechwan (second re-run); Drama Gallery’s The Mysterious 48th FloorThe Country Teacher (re-run), Black Forest and Jack and Jackie 2; Theatre Space’s Nunsense – A Musical Comedy; Hong Kong Theatre Works’ American Shrimp; Alice Theatre Laboratory’s Offending the Audience and The Call of Lu Xun (stage version), as well as Windmill Grass Theatre’s Avenue Q.

In 2010, Man was awarded Best Actress (Comedy/Farce) at the Hong Kong Drama Awards and received a nomination for Best Actress at the Hong Kong Theatre Libre for her performance in The Bloody Hell. In 2011, she was awarded Best Supporting Actress (Comedy/Farce) for Nunsense – A Musical Comedy. Two years later, she was nominated as Best Supporting Actress (Comedy/Farce) for Jack and Jackie 2. In 2019, she was awarded Best Supporting Actress (Tragedy/Drama) for An Unjust Good Fellow.

Man graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science. In 2008, she completed her studies at the School of Drama, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with a BFA degree with First Class Honours, majoring in acting.
